Hi, I'm Josh.
I’m a Glasgow-based saxophonist with over 20 years of playing and performing experience. My sets are an eclectic mix of timeless, feel-good pop, dance & electronic music, to suit any occasion.
My approach is simple: play good music, and play it well. No gimmicks - just great music that people love and connect with.
As a formally trained musician (BA hons Popular World Music, MA Music), I combine deep musical knowledge with a passion for performing.

Pop, Dance & Electronic Set
The Pop, Dance & Electronic set is a 50-minute live performance featuring a mix of iconic pop, dance & electronic music. The focus is on instantly recognisable, feel-good tracks that create a fun and inclusive atmosphere.
Each song is performed on tenor saxophone, adding warmth and soul to familiar tunes. Perfect for getting people on the dance floor — whether before a band or DJ, or as a standalone performance.

The Cocktail Hour Set
The Cocktail Hour Set set is a one-hour performance featuring well-known pop songs reimagined with custom Latin-style grooves. The result is a unique, vibrant sound to uplift any event.
Ideal for cocktail hours, guest arrivals, or stylish background music.

Both sets are also flexible — it's easy to mix and match. A mostly pop set with a few dance & electronic moments and a couple of Latin Grooves, or a Cocktail Hour Set set with some pure pop woven in. Just get in touch to talk through what works best for your event.
Pricing
My rate is £265 per set, including travel within Glasgow. For other areas of Scotland, travel costs are added to your quote. I plug into the venue's sound system or work alongside your DJ, and can provide my own PA for smaller or home events.
Special Requests
I'm happy to incorporate special song requests into your set — just let me know in advance of your performance date so I can arrange it properly and ensure it fits seamlessly within the flow of the set.
Ceremonial Music
I also offer bespoke compositions and performances — whether it's walking down the aisle, a proposal, or a memorial.
